Our Second Event of 2025: Inspirations For Better Futures: Learning & Working With Adivasis in India

This event was hosted by the Himalayan University Consortium and featured a talk, interview and discussion with Somnath, a former engineer turned activist working with Adivasis (Indigenous people) in India on collaborative projects involving watershed restoration, livelihoods and afforestation in an especially climate-vulnerable region.  We are working on an article based on this event that will be helpful to educators as well as those interested in engagement with marginalized peoples on the issue of climatic and environmental crises.
